John Hanlon took first place at the Volcom Wild In The Parks contest at Railside skatepark in PoCo this past Saturday. Hanlon's footwork also earned him a spot at the WITP championships in Peoria, Arizona on September 26th with 20Gs in the purse.

I wouldn't say the bears around town are my favorite public art project, but this one in particular may change my mind. Like magic he got himself a pair of cheap sunglasses and transformed into an awesome sculpture.
