Last week the 2009 Juno Award nominations were announced and two of my favourite Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­chanteuses were nominated. It also turns out that these two leading ladies have Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­gigs coming up in March.

Side NotesÌý- Keep your eyes out for a new music video for Zaki in 2009. She has one in the works for her song "Grow". Technically she is based out of Toronto now, but she was raised and got her start both in Vancity and South Africa.

Side NotesÌý- Ndidi recently played a singer named Ruth in the Canadian indie film "which is in theatres now. She also recently signed a deal with indie label in Paris, France.Ìý
