The largest gaming convention takes place over the Easter long weekend in Downtown Vancouver.
Thousands of people from across the globe will gather at the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Convention Centre from Friday, March 29 to Sunday, March 31 to enjoy gaming activities and compete at the Battle of BC 6, hosted by Galint Gaming in partnership with Destination Vancouver.
Pre-event and post-events will also be held on Thursday, March 28 and Monday, April 1.
Now in its sixth year, the convention will feature tournaments for Super Smash Bros., Street Fighter 6, and TEKKEN 8, as well as several spectator experiences, such as an Artist Alley, meet-and-greets and panels with top talent, karaoke, and a boat cruise after-party.
Over 1,400 people have registered to compete in the event, which will feature many of the world's "best Super Smash Bros. players," according to a press release.

Top Super Smash Bros. players will compete, including:
- Mexico’s Leonardo “MkLeo” Lopez Perez
- Edgar “Sparg0” Valdez, Carlos “Sonix” Pérez from the Dominican Republic
- American player Paris “Light” Ramirez Garcia
- Europe’s highest-ranked player, William “Glutonny” Belaid
- a handful of Japan’s best Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players
On the Super Smash Bros. Melee side, "nearly all of the top-ranked players" will be competing at the convention, including:

This year, Battle of BC 6 will include Street Fighter 6 and TEKKEN 8 tournaments, with "fighting game legends Justin Wong and Daigo 'The Beast' Umehura."
