This year's edition, taking place June 8 and 9, will feature more food than before, with a tantalizing line-up of offerings for sale including okonomiyaki (Japanese pancakes), crepes, taiyaki, ice cream, matcha drinks, and more.
In addition, organizers say they will have over 70 participating vendors selling "unique Japanese-style crafts and merchandise."

The first 50 people to enter the market on both days will receive $10 in Japan Market vouchers to spend at the festival.
The weather for the weekend event is shaping up to be perfect. V.I.A.'s Downtown Centre Weatherhood station, located at the festival site, has mostly sunny skies and a high of 22 C for Saturday and 20 C for Sunday in its current seven-day forecast.
