Peter Taylor is a talented fine artist that has exhibited all over Canada and the United States. He currently is showing at El Kartel until July 23rd, so be sure to check it out! He is also working on some exhibits that he has lined up at the Ayden Gallery (July 24th), and at Gallery 16 1/2 in Victoria. (September 12th) Peter has been kind enough to show us some images of his day to day life.

The Questions
What do you do and where?
I make drawings, cut paper/collage, paintings, assemblage pieces, and whatever else pops into my head at the Dynamo art studios on Hastings street. I also spend a lot of time riding my bike and laying in the sun at wreck beach. I'm happy doing just about anything anywhere as long as I'm in the company of some of the many amazing people that I'm blessed to be surrounded by. Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»is even better than awesome in these summer months. :)
What neighborhood do you live in?
I live at the four sisters co-op at the end of Gastown with a rooftop that boasts an amazing view including water, parks, mountains, buildings, trains, planes, automobiles, commercial residential and industrial architecture, and much much more. and equipped with a bbq for summer sunset evenings.
What are you working on?
I am working on a couple of pieces for a show at Ayden Gallery called Cookies and Dream. it opens July 24th (www.aydengallery.com) and then onto some drawings and other paper pieces for a solo show September 12th in victoria at Gallery 16 1/2. (www.fantanstudios.com)
Where can we find your work?
I currently have a show up at el kartel on Robson st at Burrard (www.elkartel.com) it will be showing until July 23rd. I usually have a piece or two kicking around at Ayden Gallery as well. or on my website that i haven't updated in ages.
