The Strathcona Blocks Party is popping up on E Hastings St on June 17 from noon to 5 p.m. with scores of fun activities including giant Jenga, tic-tac-toe games, a market, beer garden, and musical performances. Strathcona Business Improvement Association

In addition to a massive 10-block festival and a huge Italian celebration, the will also return for the warmer months.

The event will celebrate one of Vancouver's oldest residential neighbourhoods on June 17 from noon to 5 p.m. with scores of fun activities.

Spanning from the 600 to 900 blocks of East Hastings Street, this street party will feature giant Jenga and tic-tac-toe, free tote bag pressing, food trucks, a vibrant pop-up market, and a roving musical performance by the local East Van Horns band.

Attendees can also enjoy a boozy sip at an outdoor beer garden at Strathcona Beer Company and explore tours, activities, and open studios at MakerLabs.

The street festival will also have a buzzy soundtrack to keep the fun vibes going via a series of musical performances, including a show by Vancouver's firefighters. Check out the full schedule below:
