This one's for the wee ones, or parents with wee ones... but Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»has some that are free to drop in on after school, or more intensive ones that run throughout the summer that are reasonably priced.
The other day we checked out the free drop in skateboard session at Douglas Park Community Center.
Lots of little ramps and rails for getting your feet wet....
A great place for beginners to get their skate legs without much traffic, with excellent skate tips and endless patience provided by skate leader, Jeff Cole.
Definitely worth the check out if you have some kids in your life that want to try skateboarding, without having to swim with the sharks at the big parks right off the bat.
