It's the most magical time of the year and many people are hunting for the perfect place to take a festive photo of their furry best friend with Santa.

With that in mind, there are a number of places to get a jolly photo of your pooch, but not all of them offer the same things. Moreover, not all places accept all types of pets. So, don't try to take your turtle or alpaca just anywhere - have a look at our comprehensive list to ensure you find the perfect place to take your holiday photo.

"With the howlidays around the corner, the BC SPCA is once again hosting Pet Photos with Santa!" With that being said, don't bring your "howler" in "leash-less" - all pooches require a leash or carrier. The funds will help support animals at your local BC SPCA branch.

Paws and Claus is back by "pupular" demand at Vancouver's Oakridge Mall. The festive event welcomes your furry companions for an merry photoshoot with Santa. This promotion is only available to cats (in carriers) and dogs (on leashes). Park at the Southwest Entrance to the mall (by Peninsula Restaurant). Pets are only permitted in Santa’s designated photo area.

When:– Sunday, November 18 & 25: 6 pm – 8 pm; Monday, November 19 & 26: 6pm – 8pm

Enjoy Santa pictures with your pet on Sunday, December 9 on a beautiful stage set up and professional photographer. All proceeds go toward helping save more dogs in 2019, and there will be a SPIN-TO-WIN wheel where every donation wins a prize. Further, this awesome in-store event does not discriminate: bring your dog, cat, bird, fish, turtle, lizard, rat, snake, hamster or whatever your animal companion may be.
