A new 'tulip forest' experience is coming to a farm near Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»this spring

It's another first in Canada from a local family-run farm offering sweet springtime fun

Spring is in the air and soon the Lower Mainland will be covered in beautiful blooms, including at a new "Tulip Forest," on a popular farm.

Maan Farms has revealed its programming for its annual event, which includes yet another first in Canada from the Abbotsford family-run venue. The farm's Forest Pumpkin Patch is doing double duty this year as a two-acre Tulip Forest, loaded with colourful flowers and plenty of photo ops.

The Maan family has made several thoughtful changes to its farmland in order to blend agriculture with natural beauty and to create exciting opportunities to welcome people to their land.

"Everything we develop is to give our guests beautified areas to create meaningful moments,” says farmer Amir Maan of Maan Farms in a media release.

The Tulip Forest will feature installations like an "enchanting mushroom house," playful signage, a kissing booth, an oversized chair, swings, and more fun spots for taking pics and making memories, all set against a forest backdrop.

Spring farm events include food specials, baby animals, Easter fun

Maan Farms' Spring at the Farm will also have select days when they offer Baby Animal Easter (BAE) Days, where guests can interact with bunnies, chicks, ducklings, lambs, calves, piglets, and more. Additionally, in April, Maan Farms will have its usual roster of family-friendly Easter activities, like the Golden Egg Hunt and dining with the Easter Bunny.

All of the special spring events are on top of Maan Farms' usual offerings like the onsite games and play equipment (including a giant jumping pillow) and barnyard animals, plus the retail store, wine tasting room, and restaurant featuring foods by Mama Maan herself.

Mama Maan's Country Kitchen will not only have its usual lineup of Indian classics like butter chicken and chickpea curry alongside poutine and pizzas but also some exciting soon-to-be announced seasonal treats. Look for a new seasonal Maan Farms wine, too, called Flora.

Special events are priced separately and guests are encouraged to purchase tickets online in advance or consider membership (which will include admission to the Tulip Forest this spring and the Forest Pumpkin Patch this fall) for unlimited farm visits.
