Ever wanted to be the person throwing the switch to illuminate the iconic Science World building? You can get your chance to control one part of the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»skyline this August with the return of OH! the free interactive art installation in Olympic Village.
For four Fridays in August, Tangible Interaction and Science World have teamed up to set up a scale model of the Expo '86-era geodesic dome, covered with 240 sensors and LEDs capable of sensing hand movements, and altering the real Science World's lights in real time.
There are six different animations that have variations in colours and patterns, including sparkles, bands, waves and more.
The best news--you can play with these lights for absolutely free (just don't be a jerk and hog anyone's turn). "OH!" runs from 9:30 to 11:30 pm on August 3, 10, 17, 24, and you'll find the mini dome with the sensors at 1 Athletes Way, across from Tap & Barrel in Olympic Village.
