The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Police Board flatly refused to trim their annual budget by 1%, even though, at a whopping $340 million, the VPD makes up around 27% of the city’s entire budget. They also deemed the use of body cams as “too expensive”. Good thing they bought all those new motorcycles in 2017.
