All aboard one of the most magical holiday mini-adventures in Vancouver, as the Bright Nights Christmas Train chugs merrily around in Stanley Park for another joyous season.
The train and plaza will be sparkling with three million lights, offering an immersive illuminated experience like no other. Enjoy festive music and themed displays as the train makes its journey along its tracks, and in the plaza, as well, where there's plenty to see and do.
The fun kicks off on November 28, and runs through January 1, 2020. The train is closed on Christmas Day.
Perfect for families, date nights, or a fun outing with friends, the Bright Nights Christmas Train is and enduring holiday tradition in Vancouver. It's also a fundraiser for a tremendous cause: the BC Professional Fire Fighters' Burn Fund. $1.4 million has been raised to help burn survivors and their families since 1998.
Both matinee and nighttime train rides are offered, and parking is free (though you can also take public transit, ride your bike, or walk). The event is wheelchair-accessible, however dogs (aside from certified service animals) are not permitted. Tickets are required to ride the train, however you may enjoy the plaza free of charge.
