To the editor: Re: "Employment centre coming to Downtown Eastside," Dec. 28. As you reported, the Open Door Group is preparing to test the B.C. Ministry of Social Development's new "business model" for employment services in the area.

To the Editor: Re: "Smart meters will nab electricity thieves," Letters, Jan. 4. What Mike Taylor says is far from the truth and he's just regurgitating what B.C.

To the editor: Re: "Chinese consulate urged mayor to boycott show," Dec. 28 Shen Yun shows are so gorgeous and such a huge production. I don't understand why anyone would want to discourage others from seeing it.
