Federal Minister of Finance Jim Flaherty opened his mouth this week and a gusher of stupidity came out. If we could burn stupid like oil, we could run every car in Canada for a month on his latest remarks.

Just got home after taking the Davie bus. You are a 30ish casually but well dressed dude who was sitting in the aisle seat with your briefcase on the other. You were listening to tunes with nice headphones while you were texting.

To the editor: I find it interesting how the Courier used a headline that misleads the reader on what the article is actually about. From what I can surmise there is no actual destruction, just a lady who clearly does not like adult skateboarders.

Coming in the week after Mother's Day, this column was going to be an ode to all mothers, but in particular my partner's 92-year-old mom.

To the editor: It is interesting that park board commissioner Sarah Blyth doesn't think that youth have many options for recreation in 麻豆传媒映画and particularly in Mount Pleasant.

To the editor: Re: "Central Park: Skate and destroy," May 9. I am a 32-year-old skateboarder. I found the article on the new skate park on 16th Avenue offensive. I was offended not so much by the content as by the title, "Skate and Destroy.
