Well, the polls have closed and the results are coming in and federal NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh is now projected to win Burnaby South.

- Marcella Williams - People's Party of Canada – 1,258
Singh managed to visit the riding several times throughout the campaign, despite being a national party leader.
