The majority of Metro Vancouverites are expressing frustration on social media following a federal election that they feel was completely unnecessary.

As Justin Trudeau's Liberal Party won a third term in office, many people are asking what the point of the election was. Most of them have pointed out that it cost taxpayers a whopping $600 million to finance. This would make this election the most expensive in Canadian history. In the previous election, the revised estimated cost was $502 million or approximately $18.35 for each registered elector.

As such, numerous people were anticipating a wave of anti-election rants Tuesday morning,

A couple of people also questioned why the voter turnout was so high on election day, particularly during a pandemic. They noted they could have avoided lengthy lines by using the mail-in and advance polling options that were available.

Many people in 麻豆传媒映画also continue to comment on the 麻豆传媒映画Granville riding. New Democratic Party candidate Anjali Appadurai and Liberal Candidate Taleeb Noormohamed are in a close race early Tuesday evening.

In August, Liberal candidate Taleeb Noormohamed told  that he "didn't want to speculate" on exactly how many properties he had flipped. Shortly after, however, it was revealed (by NEWS1130 and separately by opposition research distributed to media by the NDP) that the number is no less than 41.

The transactions only saw the light of day less than a week after the Liberal Party of Canada revealed their promise to help first-time homeowners and implement an anti-flipping tax as part of their election platform. Those efforts would be meant to counter the very type of investing that their candidate took part in for the better part of two decades.
