Here are the deets on Hobbes, submitted by VIA reader Jeannine A!

Breed/Colouring: Fancy schmancy tuxedo kitty

Hood: Downtown Vancouver

Habits: Hobbes loves to look out the window and watch birds, pedestrians, and聽the Skytrain go by. He聽LOVES water; he is constantly found splashing around in his water bowl, licking the faucet in the kitchen, or stalking his people like crazy聽whenever they're watering the plants for a drink directly from the watering can.

Hangouts: A blue flower bed from IKEA or on the window ledge keeping an eye out.

		Name: Hobbes

Favorite Things: Bananas, nectarines (they have to be聽the right ripeness), yogurt, and the聽occasional Belgian waffle.聽 Jeannine can eat sashimi in peace without a second glance from Hobbes, but open a container of yogurt and he's on her shoulder trying to get a sniff! He also loves the smell of聽margaritas and beer (especially Belgian beer)... but he's not allowed to have聽any.聽

Other Info:聽 "Hobbes is a rescue cat and is turning 8 in November. He is a friendly little guy who is very curious about other cats and dogs, but his playfulness gets him into trouble sometimes. He is named after Hobbes (from Calvin & Hobbes) and he definitely lived up to his name. When he was younger, he was constantly pouncing on toys, bugs, and my leg every time I walked by... especially at night time when it was dark... prime pouncing time! It's never a dull moment when he's around and I couldn't have asked for a better kitty companion."
