Here are the deets on Harvey, submitted by VIA reader Olivia C!

Breed/Colouring: Black with a chic white moustache

Hood: Olympic Village (AKA "Harvey Village" to him)

Habits: Doing whatever the heck he wants, when he wants.  Harvey himself wrote in, "I sleep in my back, legs sprawled out, I jump on my humans when they’re busy, I meow loudly and demand food until I get it."

Hangouts: Harvey enjoys perching on the highest point in the place. Currently, it is the bookshelf.

Name: Harvey

Favorite Things:  Harvey writes in, "Stroking my moustache, eating my human’s food, hiding under the stove, not coming when called."

Other Info: Olivia, who found Harvey on while searching for products for her business, Meowbox tells his story:

"Harvey was found abandoned on the side of the road, in a ditch, in the rain.  He was starving, covered in fleas, anemic, and near-death.  A kind-hearted lady saved his life and fostered him until he was strong.  During this time, Harvey had developed some health issues that required expensive vet visits, hence the GoFundMe campaign.  His story touched my heart, so I used the power or meowbox’s social media to raise funds for his rising medical bills.  After a few days, Harvey reached his financial goal and he got the medical attention he needed.  Weeks passed and I realized that I couldn’t stop thinking about this little fighter, so I set the ball in motion for me to adopt him.  Harvey’s foster mom informed me that he also had a little foster brother, Zac, with whom he had become very attached.  It only took me a few moments to agree to adopt the boys together.  Weeks later, it happened, but it wasn’t exactly simple.  I flew 5 hours from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­to Philadelphia then drove 2 hours to pick them up.  On our way back to Vancouver, there was a problem with having the kittens on-board the aircraft, so we had to change plans and fly to Las Vegas, stay overnight, then fly to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­the next day. Harvey and Zac have been in their forever home now for about 2 weeks and are living the lives of the most spoiled fur balls in Vancouver."
