VIA reader Sharon Chow sent her kitty "Mr. Stinky"! Here's what Sharon had to say about him:
|
|
Name: Malachite |
Nicknames: Mr.Stinky/Stinks/Stinker/Cutes Patoots/Chite
Breed/Colouring: 50% Persian/50% Tabby ginger kitty
Hood: North Burnaby
Habits: Meowing "hello?" at 3 in the am. Yes, for real. It really does sound like "hello?". He just recently went deaf and gets confused when he can't see or hear us. Letting us know it's dinner time. Walking around the house with a nugget stuck to his butt and running away from me as I try to free him from it. Leaving personally made "gifts" for us around the house. Staring at me in the middle of the night.
Hangouts: In a toppled over cardboard box in the farthest room of the basement, on the couch, on what we like to think of as our bed, our laps, waiting in line on the bathroom counter for the tap, anywhere he can "knead".
Other info: Other Stinky factoids:
1) I showed my brother this cute kitten I had been eyeing while we were killing time during a wedding. Bro fell in love with him. The rest is history.
2) He's 16 years old with the heart and energy of a kitten.
3) He does not like being brushed (hence the lion cut).
4) My mom and dad had to replace the carpet when we moved out.
4) He enjoys leisurely walks on his leash.
5) Recently discovered my warm laptop keyboard beneath his bum.
6) Plays hungry hungry hippo with our toes in the middle of the night.
