Van City Kitty: Here's Sakura!

Happy January, cat people. Today I perused my emails hoping to find a bushel of kitties to share, and was dismayed that there were no submissions. Obviously the only way to amend this trouble is to tell you all about MY cat. His name is Sakura.

Send in your kitties, Vancouver! We need their name(s), breed/colouring, neighbourhood, habits, hangouts, favorite things, any other interesting facts or stories and at least two photos. Send to [email protected]

.

Breed/Colouring: White and grey cow kitty

Hood: Inside a Mt. Pleasant apartment

Habits: Licking his fur clean off in favored spots, leaping into my arms for hugs, and seeking out rubber bands to play Russian roulette with his digestive system.

Hangouts:  By far, his favorite hangout lately is as close to my face as possible, while I sleep. I think he would open up my skull and make a bed right in there if he could.

Favorite Things: Pillow and blanket caves, bed time, and the heat light in the washroom.

Name: Sakura, because he is my little cherry blossom.

Other Info:  At a wise old 17, Sakura is a very highly sought after dinner guest. His thesis on cuddles has earned him much attention, and he is invited to several speaking engagements a week that take place around the corner from wherever I happen to be. Often in the middle of being pet he suddenly remembers a meeting he is late for, and has to take off immediately. Despite his busy schedule he still does not own a cell phone or, as far as I have noticed, even a paper date book.

He's a handsome muffin:
