Rescued seals Bubblegum and Blue Moon have been reunited in what has to be one of the cutest seal releases in Metro Vancouver.
The pair of harbour seals were found and rescued together on Pender Island in June after being separated from their mothers.

In a Facebook post about their release back into the wild, the wrote the two spent their first couple of weeks side by side in a tub when they arrived as they had bonded and seemed to give each other comfort.
“Well, we had to separate them eventually as Blue Moon needed a little bit more time to figure things out in fish school,” the post says.
“But a few days ago, we reunited these two for their release back into the wild.
“They stuck together for quite some time following the release.”
A crowd turned out to watch the release of the duo and at Blackie Spit Park in Surrey on September 23.
In the series of photos posted by the the two seals can be seen entering the water together.
They stick by each other in the water and touch noses repeatedly. It is just too cute!
