Last year the city ran its inaugural #vancitybird , which the Black-capped Chickadee by a bit of a landslide. Leading up to this year's Bird Week in our city, they've launched the second round and are encouraging you to join in to help determine what this year's official bird will be.
This year's theme is around birds that are at risk. Each of the candidates have twitter accounts set up and will be chirping at each other until May 9th when the election will wrap up and 2016's official bird will be announced.
