June's forecast includes wetter-than-average conditions.

The Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»weather forecast includes some wet weather but a few sunny days this week.

Following soaring temperatures and bluebird skies over the weekend, V.I.A.'s Downtown Centre Weatherhood station predicts a high of 17 C and a low of 12 C with around 8 mm of precipitation through the day on Tuesday, June 11.

A brief respite from showers is expected from 10 a.m. until noon and wet weather should continue on and off through midnight (see slide two).

Wednesday's forecast includes a return to sunny weather, with a high of 17 C and a low of 10 C expected. Thursday's forecast also includes sunshine but temperatures are expected to be warmer, with a high of 21 C and a low of 10 C expected.

The weekend forecast includes showers commencing Friday and continuing through Monday. The days are expected to see wet weather while the nights should be cloudy.

Friday is expected to be the wettest day of the weekend, with up to 9 mm of precipitation predicted.

Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»weather forecast includes a warm summer and a "wetter" June

Environment Canada expects nearly all of Canada will see temperatures a bit warmer than average over the summer except for Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Island, but June's forecast includes wetter-than-average conditions.

Meteorologist Chris Doyle told V.I.A. in a previous interview that the weather models show a "strong" signal for above-average precipitation this month.
