Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»weather: Mix of sun and cloud before weekend showers

Sunday won't live up to its name this week.

While current conditions are pleasant in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»right now, the forecast shows showers are likely on their way to the city this weekend.

V.I.A.'s Mount Pleasant Weatherhood station near the middle of the city shows highs between 21 and 23 C and a mix of sun and cloud for the rest of Wednesday, Aug. 14 through Friday, Aug. 16. Each day, clouds are more likely in the morning, with the sun becoming more prominent midday.

Overnight lows should be consistent too, dropping to around 15 C each night.

However, things are expected to change on Saturday, Aug. 17. More clouds are forecast to move in and bring a little bit of precipitation. It's also anticipated to be the warmest day, with a high of 24 C during the warmest time of day.

Predictions for Saturday show a mix of sun and cloud in the middle of the day, but instead of staying clear, cloud cover will push in and there will be a chance of light showers later in the day and overnight.

That trend will continue into Sunday, Aug. 18, currently expected to be the wettest day in the mid-term forecast.

Showers, up to 24 mm of precipitation, are expected, though there may be a bit of sunshine peeking through too.

It's also expected to be the coolest day, with a high of just 18 C.
