The Vancouver, B.C. weather forecast includes a long stretch of rain and thunderstorms for the first week of November 2023.

The Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»weather forecast includes plenty of precipitation over the coming days.

Bone-dry, frigid conditions have been replaced with a slightly warmer, decidedly wetter pattern in the Lower Mainland.

On Thursday, Nov. 2, V.I.A.'s Downtown Centre Weatherhood station shows consistent temperatures throughout the day, with the daytime high reaching 11 C and the overnight low only falling to 10 C. Rain is expected to fall intermittently all day, and some stormy moments might be in the cards, too.

The hourly forecast shows that thunderstorms are possible in the downtown area starting around 2 p.m. in the afternoon and carrying on through the afternoon past 4 p.m. After this, there's another opportunity for lightning to strike around midnight.

Other places in the city are expected to see similar weather, with only slight variations in temperature. For example, the Stanley Park Weatherhood Station and the Jericho Weatherhood Station show temperatures falling to a single-digit overnight low of 9 C. However, both of these areas are expected to see a high of 11 C during the day.

When will Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»see the most rainfall this week?

While significant rainfall isn't expected to fall on Thursday or Friday, the weekend looks quite wet. Friday might not see much precipitation during the day but heavier rain might start to fall overnight. Foggier conditions are expected to round out the working week, too.

Starting Saturday, heavier rain is expected to fall intermittently through the weekend and into the start of next week. While daily precipitation amounts vary, there is a 99 per cent of wet weather on most days. For now, it looks like Saturday will be the wettest day, with up to 40 mm of rain expected.
