Temperatures are expected to climb across Metro 麻豆传媒映画this weekend and increasing humidity will make them feel even hotter. 

Downtown Vancouver, for example, is expected to see its maximum daily temperature shift from 22 C on Friday, Aug. 18 to 26 C on Saturday, according to V.I.A's Downtown Centre Weatherhood station. On Sunday, this temperature is expected to climb even higher, with a high of 27 C expected.

Weatherhood stations located in neighbourhoods closer to the water are cooler than ones that are inland. As of Friday at 10:30 a.m., for example, the Jericho and UBC Weatherhood stations show a temperature of 15 C, while the Kerrisdale and Langara ones sit a few degrees higher at 18 C. 

South Vancouver is a bit of an outlier in the city today, with its Weatherhood station showing a high of 22 C, which is above the regional average. 

Heading into next week, temperatures in the downtown area are expected to drop back down again, with daily highs of 22 C to 23 C expected. 

Nighttime lows are expected to range in the mid-teens between 12 C and 15 C.
