Vancouver's largest park has some scheduled closures planned for the final month of the year.
The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Board of Parks and Recreation will close the Stanley Park Causeway for urgent tree removal on four Saturdays in December. However, only one lane will be closed and the other will remain open on three of those days.
Northbound pedestrians and bikes will be detoured through Stanley Park and to the west side of the causeway/bridge.
One lane will be closed on the Stanley Park Causeway on the following dates:
- Sunday, Dec. 3 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
- Sunday, Dec. 10 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
- Saturday, Dec. 16 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
On Sunday, Dec. 17, from 8 to 11 a.m., the Stanley Park Causeway and Lions Gate Bridge will be fully closed to drivers, cyclists and pedestrians. Traffic will be detoured over the Ironworkers Memorial Second Narrows Crossing.
