The sun appears to be en route to Vancouver, giving the city brighter breaks over the final days of the shortest month of the year.
But not before one last possible downpour.
Around 30 mm of rain is expected to fall on the city Tuesday, Feb. 25, at a nearly 50 per cent chance according to V.I.A.'s Weatherhood.
Southern neighbourhoods like Dunbar, Kerrisdale, Killarney and River District may see slightly more rain than the rest at roughly 35 mm.
Then, by the middle of the week, Mother Nature may take a break and decide to send some sun to Vancouver.
A mix of sun and clouds is expected for Wednesday, raising the temperature to almost 15 C by the day's peak.
This includes eastern sections like Trout Lake, Strathcona, Hastings-Sunrise, as well as 13 C for downtown, Stanley Park, False Creek, Jericho and UBC.
Weatherhood also predicts wind gusts of up to 15 km/h heading west; South Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»areas may only expect less than 10 km/h.
Currently, Jericho is the warmest community at nearly 10 C, Strathcona the coldest at 5 C, Hastings-Sunrise the wettest with 35 mm of rainfall and Langara the windiest at roughly 15 km/h.
