Metro Vancouver's hot and sunny streak is coming to an end.
The region enjoyed sizzling temperatures up to 30 C over the past week. Now, Environment Canada calls for a shift in weather starting Monday (July 24).
The weekend will still see some sunshine. The forecast calls for mainly sunny skies with a high of 27 C on Saturday and a high of 25 C on Sunday.
Showers are expected to drench Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»on Monday, lessening to a 40 per cent chance of showers on Tuesday.
The remainder of next week, from Wednesday through Friday, is forecasted to be a mix of sun and cloud and an average of 21 C.
Weatherhood, Metro Vancouver’s only hyper-local weather network, calls for a similar forecast of higher chances of rain on Monday and Tuesday in Downtown Vancouver.
