For sun-lovers July is a highlight in the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»calendar, and this upcoming week shows why.

With only a couple cloudy periods expected, the mid-July forecast for the city is filled with sunny days and clear nights. Temperatures range from a low of 14 C overnight (typically just before dawn) to inland highs reaching 29 C and maybe 30 C.

Monday, July 10, will see a few clouds in the sky in the morning, and that'll drop to essentially none in the afternoon (that does mean a very high UV index). Despite the bright skies, temperatures won't get out of hand, according to Environment Canada, with a high of 21 C for most of the city.

In the evening a low of 16 C is expected.

Tuesday will see more of the same, except fewer clouds. A high of 22 C is forecast as the daily high, with a low of 14 C at night.

Temperatures will tick up another degree on Wednesday, despite it likely being the cloudiest day of the week. However, no precipitation is expected. A high of 23 C and low of 14 C is predicted.

Thursday skies will be clear again, but otherwise it'll be similar to Wednesday, with a high of 23 C and low of 16 C.

The slow rise in temperature will continue into the weekend (though inland temperatures will rise more quickly) with clear, sunny skies. On Friday, July 14, 24 C is expected closer to the water, with inland highs peaking at 29 C. On Saturday it'll be even hotter, with temperatures hitting 25 C and peaking at 30 C inland.
