We've gotten off fairly easily so far this December when it comes to snow and cold, but things are going to take a turn yet again this week before taking, well, yet another turn by the weekend, and Monday morning warning of "wintery" days to come.

Now that the soggy rainstorms are behind us, Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»can expect to see some colder wet stuff by Thursday, and then it's going to get chilly.
"Snow likely over higher terrain on Tuesday...Flurries possible on Thursday...Colder after Thursday for the rest of the week," notes Environment Canada's alert.
"The weather will become more wintery over the south coast this week."

On Tuesday, the cold, possibly snowy blast will affect East Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»Island and Victoria the most, and spots like higher elevation areas in Metro Van seeing up to about 5 cm of snow.
Expect to see any snow that came in Tuesday to melt on Wednesday. A bit more snow could fall Thursday, but by Friday all we are expected to feel is cold.
Metro Vancouver's Christmas forecast remains cold (as in around the freezing mark) and sunny, and snow-free.
