Earlier this month, Vancouver broke the record for the longest stretch of no precipitation ending in November - but the dry spell came to an end, and the city saw a stretch of wet weather.
Now, the Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»weather forecast calls sunshine and clear skies for the rest of the work week, but the weekend is expected to see rain.
Environment Canada calls for a 30% chance of rainfall on Tuesday, Nov. 19, but the skies are expected to clear in the evening. Following this, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and expected to be bright and sunny, with daily highs of 9°C, 8°C, and 7°C respectively. Since the skies will be clear, daily lows will dip down to a brisk 1°C overnight on Wednesday and Tuesday.
Saturday through Monday call for rain, but the cloudy skies will make for less chilly evenings. While daily highs aren't expected to climb above 8°C, the forecast calls for lows around 5°C and 4°C.

If you felt like fall came unseasonably early in the Lower Mainland, you aren’t alone.
Not only have there been many dreary, rainy days, but there have also been a number of downpours. Vancouverites witnessed an intense downpour around 4 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 9 that caused flash flooding in parts of the city. As a matter of fact, Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»received over twice the average rainfall for September.
