Hot, hot, hot: It is going to feel like a sizzling 34 degrees in Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­today

The Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­weather forecast is calling for some decidedly toasty temperatures this week that are expected to feel as hot as 34°C inland.

The Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­weather forecast is calling for some decidedly toasty temperatures this week that are expected to feel as hot as 34°C inland.

On Monday, Aug.6, Environment Canada calls for bright sunshine and a high of 25°C with a humidex of 30°C. Similarly, inland temperatures are expected to reach a high of 29°C but feel more like 34°C with humidity.

The sizzling temperatures are expected to continue through Wednesday, with a high of 20°C that will feel more like 29°C with humidity. Inland temperatures are expected to climb as high as 28°C but feel as high as 32°C with humidity. The forecast also calls for fog patches which will dissipate in the morning.

The clear skies are expected to continue into Thursday, with the forecast calling for a mix of sun and cloud on Friday and Saturday. However, Saturday's forecast calls for a 30 per cent chance of showers in the evening.

Sunday is expected to be cloudy, and Monday's forecast calls for a mix of sun and cloud.

British Columbia saw an impressive 17 weather records broken across the province on Wednesday, June 13 due to a very strong ridge of high pressure.

The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­Area broke its previous record of 27.4°C set in 1999 with a toasty high of 29.1°C. Similarly, the White Rock Area set a new daily high of 30.9°C, which broke its previous record of 29.4°C set in 1932.
