Snow, no! Flurries in forecast this week for Vancouver

We could see snow flurries in Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»as early as Friday night.

Just when we were getting used to sunny, rain-free days, and our Instagram feeds full of glorious fall foliage shots comes this downer of a weather forecast: We could see snow flurries in Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»as early as Friday night.

Not to put too much of a damper on our weekend outlook, but a damp week leading into an even chillier and wetter weekend.

Looks like our Trick-or-Treaters and other Halloween ghouls should enjoy a dry October 31 as a rare treat (fingers crossed!), but the rain is moving in Wednesday, and it will continue to haunt us through until early next week.

While it's mainly our nights that bring the risk of the wet white stuff, next Monday's forecast has a 40% chance of daytime flurries or rain showers.

Maybe this weekend is a good one for stocking up on salt, in case winter snow woes grip Metro Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»like they did last time around.
