What the heck was going on this morning in White Rock and South Surrey?
While many Vancouverites experienced rain, the southern section of the Lower Mainland had a wilder ride, with and a dumping of hail that left things looking pretty wintery.

The insanity was hailed (!) by some as being , though the general reaction on social media seems to be a mix of WTF and "too soon!"
Local indicate the area also experienced thunderstorms, and note multiple accidents on Highway 99.
