You already get dinner delivered to your door, so why not a new car?
A Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»tech company is making auto-buying a lot easier.
is the first business to bring online car purchasing and delivery to Canada. After a soft launch last October, they've sold over 500 automobiles to British Columbians.
Each vehicle undergoes a detailed safety inspection and comes with a seven-day return policy. The company also offers same-day delivery across Metro Vancouver.
Not surprisingly, the venture started because of shifting consumer habits during COVID-19.
"People are buying more and more things online, and vehicles felt like a natural extension of that," says founder Cody Green. "Anything that brings more transparency and better service to the industry is going to be a win for everybody," adds Green.
According to , virtual shopping has doubled in the country during the pandemic; Canadians now do 10 percent of their buying online.
