City warns of 'graphic' Stephen King shoot in downtown 麻豆传媒映画(Videos & Photos)

Crew were filming a TV series based on a novel by Stephen King in 麻豆传媒映画and the 400 block of Seymour was transformed into a post-apocalyptic hellscape.

The City of 麻豆传媒映画posted about the shoot on Twitter, noting that the filming would take place on Saturday, Oct. 26 as well as Sunday, Oct. 27. It stated that the set would include, "Highly visible graphic content including dead bodies, trash and debris, shouting of coarse language and gunfire."

In addition, the city reminded locals not to be alarmed by the commotion if they were in the area.

Based on the post-apocalyptic, horror novel The Stand by Stephen King, the TV shoot involved a great deal of disturbing imagery, dialogue and noise.

According to , The Stand is about a deadly flu that wipes out most of the world's population. The survivors must choose between following two people and, "The two factions prepare for a confrontation between the forces of good and evil."

states that the 10-episode series is set to air in 2020 and stars Whoopi Goldberg, James Marsden, Jovan Adepo, and Amber Heard.
