The story of the Kelowna Regatta, 'Canada's Greatest Water Show'

The Kelowna Regatta defined summer in the Okanagan from 1906 until 1987

Our third release from Season 3 of our history TV show  is the story of the long-running but ill-fated Kelowna Regatta!

We travel to the Okanagan and get the story from multiple historians as well as synchronized swimmers.

We hear about how it became the event that would define the summer, and about the bizarre wartime events they had (ala "burning Hitler"!).

Lastly, we learn the reasons why the event eventually shut down, and what its legacy was.
