Batwoman shoot in Downtown 麻豆传媒映画calls for weapons, smoke Friday

After filming in New Westminster Wednesday, Nov.20, the Warner Brothers TV 鈥淏atwoman鈥� will be filming tonight in Downtown 麻豆传媒映画on Friday night.

After filming in New Westminster on Wednesday, Nov.20, the Warner Brothers TV 鈥淏atwoman鈥� will be filming tonight in Downtown 麻豆传媒映画on Friday night.

A resident notification letter from Renraw Production Services states that filming will take place at 1000 W. Hastings Street and 300 Burrard Street from 5:30 p.m. until 7 a.m. the following morning. However, a minimal crew will be on location throughout the day on Friday to prepare for the shoot.

Earlier this month, a resident notification letter聽was sent out before a Nov. 7 shoot that called for the use of exposed weapons, a van that crashes into a motorcycle, and atmospheric smoke. On Wednesday, the shoot called for exposed weapons, atmospheric smoke, and bright lights.

The most recent notice states that filming will begin with exterior dialogue scenes at 1000 W. Hastings Street and 300 Burrard Street. A scene also calls for a picture vehicle to drive from Thurlow Street and turn right onto W. Hastings Street. Further, the road will be blocked with barricades and picture vehicles with flashing lights.聽Actors will be in costume and brandishing weapons.

The next scene calls for picture vehicles to drive from W. Cordova Street and turn right onto Burrard Street. Actors will get out and enter 355 Burrard Street with exposed weapons.

Between 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m., VPD will be at the shoot to help with Intermittent Traffic Control. As such, drivers may be asked to wait three minutes. Following this, there will be a full road closure at the 1000 block of W. Hastings Street after 9 p.m. As a result, motorists and pedestrians should expect delays moving through the area at this time.

On Nov.1, the City of 麻豆传媒映画warned residents that there would be聽another film shoot with highly visible graphic content聽in Gastown.

The shoot, which involved multiple mock dead bodies and even a mock dead police horse, transformed the city streets into a post-apocalyptic hellscape.聽Based on the horror novel聽The Stand聽by Stephen King, the set design for the TV series 鈥淩adio Nowhere鈥� calls for a great deal of disturbing imagery, dialogue and noise.
