Your "Roman Empire" can be an upcoming vacation to Rome thanks to ultra-low-cost deals from Canada's largest airline.
Air Canada has dropped prices on the popular route connecting Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»International Airport (YVR) and Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (FCO) in Rome, Italy, allowing locals to access the coveted destination at a steal.
Typically, the cheapest prices from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»to Rome cost between $1,500 and $3,350, depending on the season, according to Google Flights.
Right now, round-trip tickets that only involve one stopover in Toronto (YYZ) cost under $800 including all taxes and fees on several dates over the fall and winter.
While this time period is considered "off-season," tickets still cost well under half the regular price. Rome won't exactly feel toasty if you travel during this time period, but you'll face significantly fewer crowds and lower accommodation prices.
For example, a flight that departs on Saturday, Dec. 2 from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»to Rome, and returns a couple of weeks later on Friday, Dec. 15, costs $782 including all taxes and fees.
There are several other low-cost options throughout December, January, and February, but prices begin to climb starting in March. Use the Google Flights price calendar to snag one of the cheap deals.
Air Canada is also offering deals as part of its annual Black Friday sale.
