I'm the founder of this network and each week in this What's Awesome post I bring you the top stories from each of our properties, giving you access to the best of our content all in one place.

t’s all the rage on social media these days – and for a good cause too! The Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS has provided us with tons of hilarious videos to watch and plenty of Calgarians are jumping on the bandwagon too. What I love about the campaign is that is bringing a lot of awareness and education about the disease and raising funds for research too.

 started in 2003 Tokyo when Tokyo-based architects Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham decided that the only way to prevent them from rambling during a presentation was to limit it to 20 slides for 20 seconds each. This 20×20 format has taken off globally, with PechaKucha Nights taking place in more than 700 cities and counting.

In the last few months, Toronto has been flourishing in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine restaurants. One of those restaurants has been  (11 Duncan) located in the Story’s Building.
