Local artists pay tribute to those lost in Brentwood tragedy. Canadian Music Week is held annually in various cities throughout Canada for the nation to come together as one and celebrate the thing we love most, music! This year CMW was held from May 6-10th in the beautiful city of Toronto and not surprisingly, featured a diverse lineup with several Calgarian acts. Included in these were: 36?, Windigo, Obey the Crooks, The Rumble, Amy Carson Hunter and Steve Rokosh.

Zach Berman and Ryan Slater have come a long way since launching Canada’s first ever mobile juice and smoothie bar in Canada back in 2011. Zach was recently awarded a BC Business award, they’ve been featured on  and I imagine most of you have enjoyed their juices and smoothies. They’ve become a part of the fabric of this city in a short amount of time and a bit of an overnight success story.
