I shared the drive up the Sea to Sky in , then made that showcased our fabulous accommodations at the Fairmont. I had planned to simply share our eating experiences at the resort's restaurants in this post but there is so much more going on, so I'm expanding the scope a bit.

Bottom line, you're going to want to check out and . Two of four dining options that are steps from the elevator to your room, aside from being surrounded by elegance you'll also be privy to one of the best brunches I've experienced. It's a must.

Last but not least, lakes! Right after we checked out of our room the valet brought us our car and we went looking for a parking spot near the candy store in the Whistler Village so we could get treats for the drive home. I went the wrong direction by accident and not two minutes later happened upon Lost Lake, a swimmer-friendly spot that's also home to trout. If you're looking for places to fish or to swim in the summer months, you don't have to look far as the area is dotted with small lakes like this.
