This unique 'mini' cruise ship was spotted docked in Metro Vancouver

A unique "mini" cruise ship attracted dozens of people on the Steveston boardwalk in Richmond on Monday, Oct. 14.

A unique "mini" cruise ship attracted dozens of people on the Steveston boardwalk in Richmond on Monday, Oct. 14.

The docked at the Imperial Landing floats for a one-day rest while on its regular West Coast route.

The 73-metre tour boat can hold up to 100 passengers in 50 cabins and normally cruises to Alaska and B.C. in the summer and California, Sea of Cortez, Costa Rica and Panama in the winter.

Built in 2018, the vessel is designed to be slimmer than most ships to allow smooth navigation through narrow inlets without sacrificing comfort for its passengers.
