Travellers looking for cheap flights from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»to New York can enjoy a direct option at a discount on numerous dates.
In 2022, JetBlue introduced a direct route between Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»International Airport (YVR) and John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK); it is the only direct option for the popular route (though Air Canada does connect YVR with nearby Newark Airport (EWR).
The airline also flies direct from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).
Locals looking for cheap flights to the Big Apple can enjoy the lowest fares with the New York-based carrier, despite it offering the most attractive option with no stops.
One-way fares in November and December start at just under $240 on numerous dates directly through JetBlue.
For example, a flight departing on Dec. 5 from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»and flying directly to New York costs US$169.80 or roughly $C236.06 (see slide three).
Travellers taking advantage of the lowest fare class, Blue Basic, should ensure they read the booking restrictions. JetBlue's cheapest option does not permit ticket changes or seat selection and passengers must board last (see slide two).
Round-trip flights from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»to New York
Round-trip flights departing in the new year start at over $100 less than regularly-priced tickets on the route.
For instance, a flight that departs on Jan. 13 and returns on Jan. 20 costs US$300.89 or roughly C$419 (see slide four).
According to Google Flights, this price is considered "low" for the economy class and roughly $119 cheaper than usual (see slide five).
