Cruise to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»from Australia with Princess

The total cost for an interior stateroom for two people is $9,618.60 or $4,809.30 per person (see slide four).

The price works out to a jaw-dropping $145.74 per diem, which includes transportation on a beautiful five-star vessel, meals, entertainment, snacks, and lodging. The only thing it doesn’t factor in is alcohol, but you may opt to purchase a drink package that can reduce the cost of your spending.

The Royal Princess doesn't have oceanview accommodation but travellers can upgrade to a balcony, mini-suite, or suite.

Flight from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»to Sydney, Australia

Flights from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»to the Land Down Under can be notoriously pricey. Most locals expect to pay over $1,100 for a one-way trip with stops.

According to Google Flights, the least expensive round-trip flights from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»International Airport (YVR) to Sydney International Airport (SYD) typically cost between $1,550 and $2,700.

While a ticket under $1,500 might be a great deal for travellers headed to the other side of the globe, buying two tickets — with one heading to Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) — allows them to save significantly more.

Travellers may want to break up their time in Hawaii and Australia before the cruise. By booking two separate flights, they can save upwards of $500 on the one-way itinerary.

For example, a flight from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»to Honolulu with WestJet on April 4 costs $211 (see slide five), and one from Honolulu to Sydney on April 7 with Jetstar costs $151 (see slide six).

Hotel prices range from under $100 a night to several thousand, offering everything from "bare bones" accommodation to some of the world's top hotels.
