Air Canada has slashed prices on flights from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»to cities within Canada or between Canada and the U.S.
Canada's largest airline is offering up to 20 per cent off Economy Class flights across the country or from across the border.
For discounts up to 20 per cent, travel must occur between April 29 and June 27 and between Sept. 4 and Dec. 15.
For discounts up to 15 per cent, travel must occur between July 3 and Sept. 3.
The following blackout dates apply: May 15, 16, 20; June 13-16; June 20-22; June 26-30; July 1-2; July 6-7; July 13-14; Aug. 3-6; Aug 10-11; Sept. 1-3; Oct. 10-15; and Nov. 9, 2024.
The discount will not be applied to surcharges, including taxes and airport transportation fees; it is for base fares only.
Some low-cost one-way, direct flights from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»departing in May and June include Los Angeles for $168, Toronto for $186, and Montreal for $196 (see slide two).
Tickets must be booked by Thursday, May 2 at 8:59 p.m. Travellers must enter the promotion code displayed on this page when they book flights for the discount to be applied.
Air Canada recently came under fire for proposing a new seat selection fee during the 24-hour check-in period. However, the company paused the new program citing "operational issues."
