Travellers through Okanagan and Kamloops airports will have more options to choose from this fall, winter and early spring.

has announced improvements to its winter schedule and released details of its holiday schedule. They include enhancements for service through Kelowna International Airport, Penticton Airport and Kamloops Airport.

Starting this fall, Pacific Coastal is adding more seating capacity between Kelowna and Victoria with the use of the 34 seat Saab 340B aircraft from Sunday through Friday. That’s a step up from the 19 passenger Beechcraft it has been using for the route.

It’s also adding a Kelowna to Prince George route, which launches on October 28, 2024.

“This winter we are pleased to offer passengers enhanced travel options through the introduction of new routes, additional flights and more seats to choose from operating on our larger Saab 340B aircraft,” said Johnathan Richardson, VP, Customer & Commercial. “Pacific Coastal Airlines will offer 8,655 seats across 359 weekly flights to 18 communities throughout British Columbia during our winter schedule.”

To meet increased holiday season demand, the airline is offering additional flights between Kelowna and Victoria from December 20, 2024 to January 2, 2025. There will also be extra service between Victoria and Kamloops on those dates.

On Saturdays December 21 and 28, Pacific Coastal will be boosting the size of aircraft and frequency of flights on several routes, including Kelowna to/from Nanaimo, Comox and Prince George as well as to/from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»and Penticton.
