Sunday adventure plans are set.
On the way back from a traditional Sunday morning coffee-and-Globe session at Our Town, a Vancouverite stumbled upon a Show 'n Shine outside The Whip and snapped some photos with iPhone. (Apologies for blurry lens.) Plenty of cars and motorbikes from the 1930s through 80s are on display today, chrome twinkling in the sun.
On the same block, the are hawking second hand clothes and baubles (presumably a fundraiser for our fierce local ladies of roller derby mastery).
Up the street, at Main and 17th, there's a happening, says my friend Toby, including a sweet booth from Tyler Lepore's ultra-hip bike shop .
