This past weekend the kind folks at flew us over to Salt Spring Island to visit one of the V.I.A. not-for-profit's board of directors for an amazing weekend trip. This little airline flies their 6-passenger floatplanes out of Coal Harbour and out of the airport and over the next few days I'll be sharing five reasons why you should take a trip to this magical little island with them.
Reason #3 isn't specifically about the airline itself but one of the amazing things you'll discover when you step off one of their planes and the island: nature! These deer on the side of the road are the tip of the iceberg of some of the quiet, back-to-basics awesomeness you'll find barely off the beaten path on this lovely little island 30 minutes from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»by air.
